Kyle Shulz is the Research Director for the Nevada Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs. As Research Director, he oversees the various research studies, research reports and data collection efforts that Travel Nevada administers along with other research efforts for the department. These different forms of research and data collection include methods ranging from geolocation data and survey research to tax and economic impact data, among others. He is part of the state’s Economic Advisory Group, has a degree in Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno and completed the Certified Public Manager (CPM) program and accreditation with the State of Nevada in 2025. Combining love for data and baseball, he is also a member of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) where he has contributed one biographical article and is working towards producing others.
