Born to hearing impaired parents in Elko, Nevada, Delmo is active and committed to his family and community where he regularly shares his God given talents of singing.  He has been married to his wife Annie since 1988.  They have been blessed with three wonderful children, Michael, Emily and Elizabeth and eight grandchildren.

After nearly 31-years of “working thought the ranks”, Delmo retired as the Assistant City Manager from the City of Elko on December 5, 2014, to assume the role as elected County Commissioner.  Currently serving his 3rd term, he is also a licensed Realtor with Licensure in the State of Nevada.  Delmo has spent his life trying to give back, a fan of volunteerism, he serves on several local boards, he is a member of the Elko Host Lions Club, and Knights of Columbus.

Delmo credits his life experiences, involvement in theater and the Choarliers as the foundational tools that cultivated his talent, passion and drive.
