Cheryl Miller

Park Ranger with the Bureau of Land Management at the California Trail Interpretive Center

Cheryl Miller began her career in forest management and has since built a dynamic path as a Park Ranger with the Bureau of Land Management at the California Trail Interpretive Center near Elko, NV. After spending several seasons working in National Parks across the country, Cheryl is delighted to be back in the West, where she feels most at home.

Her career has taken her to some of the nation’s most breathtaking landscapes and introduced her to a wide range of communities, cultures, and unforgettable individuals. These experiences continue to inspire her passion for public lands, education, and stewardship.

Cheryl is looking forward to another remarkable summer in northern Nevada—exploring historic ghost towns, camping beneath expansive night skies, and, with the help of her new pup Jackpot, finally making the trek all the way to Liberty Lake.
