Grant Development Process – Helping You Become Popular

April 10, 2:00 pm - 2:45 pm
Gemini 1

Participants will leave this session with an overview of how to set up a grant schedule and outline; identify appropriate partners and engage stakeholders in a collaborative writing experience; and submit a competitive grant application packet. Take a walk with Mary & Brenda down the yellow brick road as they lay the foundation for the support you need for a winning proposal. You’ll meet Tin Man who needs to learn the “heart” of grant writing, Scarecrow who doesn’t understand grant math, and Lion who needs the courage to collaborate. You’ll learn how to avoid the flying monkeys through proper scheduling and how to really avoid a true disaster like a house falling on you! Finally you’ll end up meeting the wizard who will make all your grant dreams come true. This session will provide a few new strategies to help you defy gravity and refine your grant writing skills! Get ready to fly!
