Leslie Lotspeich spent 30 years as an educator and administrator in Elko County. Following her retirement, she explored the feasibility of marketing produce in Northern Nevada. When her son returned to the ranch after completing his service in the Army, they launched Lotspeich Family Farm. Each year, the farm has continued to grow and expand into new areas of agriculture, including the addition of six hoop houses, greenhouse production, and a pumpkin patch for community enjoyment. Their ongoing commitment is to evolve and adapt in order to meet the needs of their community.
