A proud Las Vegas native, Aida is a Public Relations Specialist for Travel Nevada, where she helps share the state’s story through strategic communications, industry relations, and public affairs. In her role, she works closely with elected officials and industry partners to elevate Travel Nevada’s initiatives and promote the state’s vibrant tourism landscape.

Aida graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and minors in Communication Studies and Sociology. While at UNR, she was deeply involved in the Reno community, supporting local nonprofits and initiatives focused on making the “Biggest Little City” more connected and accessible.

Her passion for storytelling and global connection led her to volunteer abroad in Costa Rica and Thailand, where she supported wildlife conservation and sustainable agriculture efforts while managing communications and outreach.

Back in her home state, Aida gained experience in public service through local political campaigns and as a legislative liaison for Nevada Medicaid. Today, she brings that diverse background—and her love for Nevada—into her work promoting the state she’s always called home.
