Gold Quarry Mine Tour

On this tour, visitors will explore the south area operations of the Carlin Complex, known as Gold Quarry. The tour includes a driving route through the Gold Quarry process and operations areas, with stops at the Emergency Response Team Building, Heavy Vehicle Shop, and the Gold Quarry Pit Overlook. While some details may vary depending on operational needs, the overall experience will remain largely the same. Space is limited.

*This activity will depart from the Elko Convention Center. A complimentary shuttle will be provided from the Elko Convention Center to the activity location and back. Complimentary shuttle service is also available between the host hotels and the Elko Convention Center.

• Required attire: long pants, long-sleeved shirt, and closed-toe shoes. NGM will provide any additional personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
• Bus pickup is in front of the Elko Convention Center (circular drive) at 8:00 a.m. on April 21, 2026.
• The bus ride to the site is approximately 30 minutes each way.
• The bus is equipped with a restroom, with additional facilities (blue room) available at the tour site.
• Departure from the mine site is scheduled for noon, subject to operational adjustments.
• Drinks and a sack lunch will be provided. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions, including allergies or gluten-free requirements.
