Cowboy Arts and Gear Museum

April 21, 2:15 pm - 4:15 pm

Step into history at the Cowboy Arts and Gear Museum, where you can try your hand at a craft that has defined the American West for generations. Located in the historic G.S. Garcia storefront, stamp your own leather keychain with classic Western designs—a perfect, personalized souvenir to take home from the heart of Elko. It’s a great way to connect with the local heritage and carry on the tradition of the legendary craftsmen who once worked in this very building. Space is limited.

Participants will be required to pay a $5 cash fee at the door to help with supplies for the leather making workshop, this is not included in registration.

April 21, 2026 | 2:15 – 4:15 p.m. PST

*This activity will depart from the Elko Convention Center. A complimentary shuttle will be provided from the Elko Convention Center to the activity location and back. Complimentary shuttle service is also available between the host hotels and the Elko Convention Center.
