Travel Nevada and the Nevada Small Business Development Center (SBDC) partnered to produce the Rural Tourism Pitch Day Challenge, inviting entrepreneurs across rural Nevada to share their tourism business concepts for a chance at $20,000 in startup money. Over an eight-week course, entrepreneurs worked with a Nevada SBDC advisor to bring their business ideas to life. During the Rural Roundup closing general session, hear the top entrepreneurs pitch their ideas that aim to strengthen rural Nevada’s appeal to tourists.
