Basque Cooking Class

Join us at the Convention Center for an immersive afternoon celebrating the bold, rustic flavors of the Basque region. Under expert guidance, you’ll learn to master a full menu of traditional favorites before sitting down to enjoy the feast you’ve created. Space is limited.

Participants will be required to pay a $50 cash fee at the beginning of the class, this is not included in registration. All participants will receive a complete recipe packet to take home, so you can recreate the magic in your own kitchen.

*This activity will take place at the Elko Convention Center. Complimentary shuttle service is available between the host hotels and the Elko Convention Center.

  • Basque Paella: A regional twist on the classic, focusing on fresh ingredients and authentic techniques.
  • Signature Basque Salad Dressing: Learn the secret balance of acidity and herbs that defines Northern Spanish salads.
  • Basque Burnt Cheesecake: Master the iconic, “intentionally scorched” dessert known for its creamy center and caramelized exterior.
  • Wine Pairing: Discover which varietals perfectly complement the smoky and savory notes of Basque cuisine.
